CLOSED*Pue Jolie Laundry Detergent Review & Giveaway*CLOSED

I am always open to try something new,
so when I heard about a new cloth friendly detergent
called Pue Jolie I was instantly intrigued.
Pue Jolie is made my a SAHM of 3, who also home schools her eldest 2 children.
Madam Jolie started making her own detergent because she had troubles
with some of the popular CD friendly detergents on the market.
I too can relate to this problem!
Just like Madam Jolie, some detergents have caused my daughter to have bleeding rashes!
She finally found a formula, with natural and safe ingredients, and that works!

Pue Jolie's Ingredients are "Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate,
Organic Citric Acid, Natural Chilating agent".
Her Scented Formulas also have fragrant or Essential Oils
Pue Jolie contains NO harsh chemicals!

Pue Jolie means "Stinks Pretty" in french,
Her motto is "When something smells good it stinks pretty... my hope is everything always Pue Jolie."

My review:
I was sent a generous amount of Pue Jolie to review!
Madam Jolie sent me her White Tea & Ginger formula.
Which is described as "a very complex blend of green tea, fresh green citrus, lavender, jasmine, violet, ginger, rose, musk, sandalwood."
My initial thought when I smelled it was citrus! It smells very crisp and natural!
I was a bit apprehensive because the smell was rather strong.
I was worried that the fragrance would cling to our diapers.
I decided to do two separate tests with Pue Jolie.

The first, I washed like normal.
Cold pre-wash with no detergent, Hot wash with 2tbsp Pue Jolie, then a warm rinse.
My diapers smelled great. I couldn't find any hint of the White Tea & Ginger left.

Second time around, I chose to do a soak.
I do this periodically with our current detergent to help with the "stinkies."
I did a cold pre-was like normal.
Then, Added 2tbsp to a Hot wash and let soak for 3 hours.
And continued like usual.
Still after my diapers sat in Pue Jolie for a lengthy amount of time.. Still no left over scent.
They smelled like they should. No stink, just a fresh and clean!

Soaking in Pue Jolie. Somehow this seems a bit as an invasion of my privacy. lol
I am very impressed by Pue Jolie!
I will actually make an order this weekend, this time I want to try "Forbidden Fruit".

WIN:
Pue Jolie is generously giving one lucky follower a $9 gift certificate to her shop.

CLOSED*Hip Hooters- My Organic Breast Pads Review & Giveaway*CLOSED

Hip Hooter's Mission:
"It's Hip to breastfeed! Hip Hooters, otherwise know as My Organic Breast Pads is helping moms 'suck'ceed in their choice to breastfeed healthy, happy babies!"

When I breastfed my first child, Lillian, I had real troubles with leaking.
I used almost every brand of disposable nursing pads available, But I still leaked.
Just like with cloth diapers.. I never knew I had another option.
I didn't know that people made/used washable, reusable nursing pads.
This time around, I became determined that I would NOT have the same embarrassing issues.

and immediately fell in love with their prints and design.
When I received my own pair in the mail for review.. I was even more impressed.

I love the size,  Hip Hooters measure 4.5 inches.
I am rather heavy busted and finding a pad that fits well without being bulky is important.
Hip Hooters definitely fit perfectly.
I can hardly tell I'm wearing them. The don't show through my shirt, very discreet.
My Organics Breast Pads came in a cute little package.

The absorbency is wonderful.
My milk let down SEVERAL times while wearing them and I had no milk showing through.
Knowing that Hip Hooters have a layer of PUL (Polyurethane laminated fabric) gives me an added sense of security!

I also love all the adorable prints!
I chose the "Happy Hooters" because I love owls.
Hip Hooters are comfortable too!
One thing I hated about disposable nursing pads was the rough, papery feel over my breasts!
Ugh. Nothing worse that something rough rubbing over chaffed, sore nipples!
But Hip Hooters are made from layers of organic bamboo, flannel and cotton.
So nothing but soft fabric on the girls! :)

The soft inside fabric. Also came with ingredients list and car instructions.

The quality is superb!
The high standard of craftsmanship is evident, You can tell that time and care are put into making this product.

                                                   WIN:
Hip Hooters- My Organic Breast Pads has been kind enough
to give ONE lucky fan TWO Hip Hooters!

Let it Snow..

This past weekend, We went to North-East Alabama to visit my husband's family.
In the history of that town, there has NEVER been a recorded white Christmas.
Until this year!
We awoke Christmas morning to find it snowing!
Within a short amount of time we had 3 inches of gorgeous, fluffy, white snow covering my in-law's yard!

My hubby took our oldest "Lilly" out to play in it.
She had a blast.
It's rare that we get snow at our home in Tennessee, so this was a special occasion for us.

CLOSED*HeidiOh Diapers Review & Giveaway*CLOSED

My first ever cloth diaper purchase was a large fitted diaper for DD1.
It was a HeidiOh! I immediately fell in LOVE.
Not only was this diaper my first, but it STILL is one of my FAVORITES!!!
It is very trim and fits her perfectly!
I also have a HeidiOh Diaper for DD2, once again it is awesome.
The fit on DD2 is just as remarkable
I'm usually not too fond of my oldest in a fitted diaper unless for around the house.
Mainly because it hard enough to get her to stay still long enough to change her diaper,
putting an additional cover on is close to impossible.
But I prefer DD2 wear a fitted, and she does for the majority of the time.
HeidiOh's diaper is my Go-To fitted!!
I love how absorbent this diaper is.
Not once have I had an leaking issues with Poo.

A large HeidiOh on my 32lb 26month old. Still plenty of room left. Only on the second snap setting

A small HeidiOh on my 13lb 8wk old. Great fit on the second snap setting.

HeidiOh's Fitted Diapers have 3 layers of fabric and a 6-layer snap in soaker to maximize absorbency and decrease drying time.

They are made of:
Outer Fabric is Cotton Knit
Hidden Fabric is Flannel

Inner is Cotton Velour.

The soaker is made of:
2 Layers of Cotton Velour
2 Layers of Bamboo Fleece
2 Layers of Bamboo Terry

I love how soft it is!
I'm happy knowing my babies' bottoms are comfy!

The snaps are polyresin.
Double snaps on the soaker and 3 rows of double snaps for closure

DD1's Large "Flower Power" HeidiOh Diaper

DD2's Small "Thing 1 Thing 2" HeidiOh Diaper

CLOSED*Ruby Moon Natural Laundry Wash Review & Giveaway*CLOSED

I started using cloth diapers because I didn't want all those harsh chemicals against my little one's skin.So choosing a detergent that was equally bum-friendly was a MUST!Rumor was that Ruby Moon Natural Laundry Wash is among the best! They provide a natural formula that is safe for diapers, Eco-friendly and safe for our babies bottom! So I was ecstatic when I was recently lucky enough to win a sample from Ruby Moon!
Not only did she send a sample of her Diaper Wash, but also her Laundry Wash and Pail Powder!

The laundry formula was Sweet Clementine.. OooLaLa!
It smelled heavenly! Not overpowering, just right!
I chose to use the laundry detergent on my hard to clean whites, which consist mainly of my husband socks! Eww!
The result: WHITE CLOTHES! I am not exaggerating! Not only did they brighten in the wash but they had a nice gentle, fresh smell and they were soft.

The Diaper Wash was lavender, which I usually am not fond of. But once again, I was in love with the scent! Very mild and soothing!
I washed my diapers by Ruby Moon's suggestions: Start with a cold rinse, Then wash on hot with 2-3 tbs of Ruby Moon Cloth Diaper Detergent, and finish with a cold rinse.
The lavender smell didn't seem to cling to my diapers like I would have imagined. But it did leave them stink free, which I can't say for some other detergent I have tried.

The Pail Powder was unscented but still had a great fresh scent. I even had my husband smell it and he thought it smelled like flowers.
I had honestly never thought about using a pail powder before. I wash my diapers every day so the pail never gets too overpowering.
I sprinkled a fair amount in the bottom of the empty pail and some in the liner also. Then after each diaper, I sprinkled a little in as recommended!
It works wonders! Even after my diapers were in the pail for an additional day, they pail didn't have that overpowering ammonia smell!
The Pail Powder can also be used to freshen wet bags, the car, pet beds and more without using ANY harmful chemicals or perfumes!

All of the products I tried were fabulous and I am 100 percent pleased! I want to try more! Ruby Moon also provides Wool Wash, Wash Bits and Wool Dryer Balls!I love the selection of scents... They all sound fabulous!

Ruby Moon's Mission:
"Our mission at Ruby Moon is to provide you with an affordable, gentle on the earth and your skin, tough on stains and odor, line of products. Dirty Diaper Dilemma

Have you ever seriously considered throwing away a dirty diaper?

If you would have asked me this question a few days ago, I would have looked at you with bewilderment.
But oh no.. Not today!

My oldest daughter woke up from her nap and lingered in her bedroom. Immediately this was a cue that she is doing her "business" in secrecy. This has happened a thousand times in the past. She will emerge from her room and announce her accomplishments: "Mommy, I shoo shoo." with such pride on her face. (She could care less that she is sitting in a dirty diaper, she just likes to boast about her latest activity.) But Not today!

When she finally appeared from her room, I had my hands literally tied. I was trying to pacify my youngest daughter, whom is a very needy newborn with reflux. After finally getting the baby soothed and asleep, the phone rang. It was my mother, who of course had a million questions as usual. I was so distracted by the baby, my mother and then the FedEx man with my newest fluff mail, that I honestly FORGOT that DD1 had a present for me.

By the time I remembered an hour had passed.
Today is the day that I missed sposies!
Let me rephrase that: Today is the day I miss being able to throw a poopy diaper away!

Once I sat DD1 down to change, I knew the trouble I was in for. It was EVERYWHERE. Thankfully the diaper was able to contain such a disaster! And to make things 100 times worse.. My father had given her a few Oreos the day before. If you can imagine. Now of course if she had been a sposie, it would have been all over the house. So I am thankful for that! But that thought was not crossing my mind as I am attempting to clean out the mess with the diaper sprayer.

So note to self:
1.Next time DD1 eats oreos, use a liner.
2.Change a shoo shoo IMMEDIATELY!

Hey You! Show me your stash!

That's right! Show me your stash! I'd love to see all your fluff!
It doesn't matter if you have 1 diaper or 100 diapers!
I'd also love to see how you store your stash.
Do you keep them in a drawer? In a closet? In a basket?
I have two separate stashes;
DD1 is 25months old and weighs 32lbs, so most of her diapers are OS or Larges.
DD2 is 6weeks old and 11lbs, the majority of her diapers are smalls, with a few OS that DD1 outgrew.
Since we have two seperate stashes, I store them separately.
Which can be an inconvience at times! I'd love to know how/where you keep your.
Maybe I can get some good ideas!

No more small talk.. Here is my stash.  (About 15 diapers not shown, in the wash)

DD1
DD2
DD1- Stored in drawer w/ extra inserts, doublers and prefolds.
DD2- Stored in Bins under changing table

If you want to show off your stash, post your pictures on my wall on Facebook!
Or email them to me at Crazy4Fluff@yahoo.com

Thanks Mamas!
