Little One Books was created by Joan and Barney who have 5 grandchildren.
They started Little One Books after the birth of their first grandchild
when they realized a lack of help when searching for books and other media.
The online book stores they found provided little to no help!
Little One Books only carries quality books
and other media that have been personally
reviewed by Joan and Barney themselves!
They strive to make their book store more than just a company, but a family.
Little One Books is neatly arranged and organized in sections by age,

they believe is the youngest appropriate age group.
Of course the books are appropriate for older ages

I was asked to pick one book from Little One Books for review.
The selection in Lillian's age group is outstanding!
They have books that we all know like "Corduroy"
and books about being a sister like "I'm a Big Sister".
But after much thought and consideration,
I chose a book that I knew we all would love and enjoy reading.
Please, Puppy, Please was written
by filmmaker Spike Lee and his wife Tonya Lewis Lee
about a pair of high energy toddlers and a rambunctious chocolate lab puppy.
This book had me grinning ear to ear each time I read it.
If you have ever had a puppy, let alone a Labrador puppy, then you
know how much trouble they can get into and how relentless they can be.
In Please, Puppy, Please the toddlers simply want
their puppy to behave and listen. They plead
with him, PLEASE, PLEASE, PUPPY!
They ask him to stay inside, to stay in the yard,
to come when called, to leave the cat alone.. and so much more!
Lillian enjoyed this book!
Every night at bedtime, she wants to 'read' a book before I do.
So when I showed her that we got a new book in..
She was excited to flip through the pages and
give her depiction of what is going on.
Even Olivia seemed to enjoy it.
The pictures are bright and colorful
which definitely caught her attention.
