Doopsy Review & Giveaway*CLOSED

Doopsy diapers were one of my first cloth diapers.

I won it from the HUGE Doopsy giveaway back in October.

Even before I won our Doopsy SD, I had seen 

advertisements for them everywhere.

They had adds on Facebook, on blogs and I even

came across one on Craigslist.

The company was sure to market there product

so that EVERYONE had a chance to know about it.

Doopsy diapers come in three different types:

The Doopsy "R", The Doopsy "D" and the "SD".

Originally the Doopsy "SD"

came with a unique sock like insert

made from Bamboo and a layer of PUL.

The insert was expandable and was meant to

be stuffed with the Doopsy hemp insert and microfiber insert, 

for ultimate absorbency.

This insert was complicated and the only 

reason I disliked our Doopsy.

The sock like insert was hard to stuff

and was a bit bulky when fully stuffed.

Obviously I am not alone in my distaste for

the Doopsy "SD" soaker system.

Doopsy has developed a new and

improved version of the sock insert.

I was given the opportunity to review 

the new Doopsy insert!

Immediately I was excited.

The original, although genius and super

absorbency was just missing something...

or maybe it had too much.

The new insert is made a very similar way.

It is still a sock insert, made to be stuffed, but

instead of it being expandable it is sewn 

together at the bottom.

The new insert has a layer of PUL just

like the original and is available 

in several different colors.

I received red. :)

Just as before it is made from bamboo

but not includes a layer of

hemp, so no additional hemp insert.

It also comes with a 4 layer

microfiber insert to stuff inside.

Put together this baby is bulletproof!

ORIGINAL STUFFED and THE NEW STUFFED

The new and improved insert is 

so much easier to stuff and just

as before.. Not need to unstuff it,

just toss it in the wash and the 

microfiber insert will work its way out.

This new insert is noticeably trimmer

than the original.

in love with Doopsy all over!
