Baby Bond: Couture Nursing Cover Review & Giveaway* CLOSED

 One of the greatest joys of being a mama, for me, is breastfeeding.

I love everything about it.

The close bond between me and my little one, the fact that I alone

am the sole nutrition fro her growing body.

Breastfeeding is natural, it's healthy and it's beautiful.

Even Picasso found breastfeeding beautiful.

But unfortunately in the society we live in today, 

breastfeeding has become taboo.

If you 'dare' nurse your child in public, 

you are subject to dirty looks, obscene words

and who knows what else!

I myself could care less about what others think of me nursing my child.

God gave us breasts for a reason!

Yes they may be considered a sexual organ of our body to some,

but when a mother is lactating her breast are no longer her own

but that of her child.

With my first child, Lillian, I attempted to use a nursing shawl

to cover us while nursing in public.

She hated being covered.

She was, and still is, a very nosy little girl.

She tried to pull the shawl down, she despised its very presence.

And frankly so did I.

Who wants to eat under a blanket?

I know I don't!

The Couture came in the mail in a cute little box.
Inside the box, The Couture was neatly rolled.

The material of The BabyBond Couture is very breathable.
With living in a warmer climate, that is very important.
Any additional articles of clothing must be lightweight in the hotter months!

The Couture wraps around your shoulders
and meets at the waist, simply pull through to secure it.

The BabyBond Couture has an opening
between the two layers of fabric.
The bottom layer will rest below the breast and the top portion
sit upon the breast, perfectly concealing it.

I love how the tag on The Couture has the directions.
While at my mothers house.. I honestly forgot how to put it on properly.

But with one quick glance at the step-by-step instructions on the tag...
It was a breeze!

I was a little confused on how to use this.
I thought I was using it properly but when I sent my finished
review to BabyBond, they politely explained that I was nursing wrong.

Initially I was nursing from the breast that was closed to the drape of the cover, 

but the BabyBond is designed to nurse for the opposite breast.

WRONG WAY! See how I'm nursing from the right breast when the BB drapes over that same side.

Once I was corrected and used it properly, 

I was much more pleased with the coverage I got.

I am more than happy with this product.
It provides a sense of modesty for those
who may want a more discrete way to nurse in public.
Because honestly, nursing shawls draw more attention
than anything else! But The BabyBond
