Country Drawers Review & Giveaway

I love to learn about other cloth diapering mamas
and thru my blog I have come across several whether it be my
blog followers, other blogging mamas, mamas from my local
cloth diaper group or cloth diaper boutique owners.

Recently while browsing the Nifty Nappy cloth diaper page
I stumbled across her long list of retailers.
Since Nifty Nappys are hard to come by now after the
owner closed her shop, it rummaged thru the list of retailers
looking for ONE specific Nifty Nappy fitted print!
My search ended with the website of a quaint little shop named

Country Drawers is a boutique located in Cambridge, Nebraska.
Owned and operated by Tara and her husband.
Country Drawers was born in 2010 when after the birth of their son,
Tara realized that there was a major need in their rural Nebraska
neighborhood for easily accessible cloth diapers and other natural parenting products.
When Tara and her family aren't busy running their store, they also have a
farm where they grow crops and raise various animals.
Sound perfect to me!

Tara was kind enough to offer a review for all of my readers
after she saw a discussion on the Crazy 4 Fluff Facebook page
about mama cloth. She generously sent me a sample
of the Pink Daisy Organic Cotton Feminine Pad.

This past month my cycle returned after 3 long
and luxurious years of being period free.
Up until I started cloth diapering I was completely
unaware that there were other
type of pads.. other than disposables.
I have always detested disposable pads, just the
same as I detest disposable diapers.
Honestly who wants to feel like they have cardboard
against their vagina, I certainly don't.

So when I learned about mama cloth I was immediately sold.
And truth be told I was kind of excited to AF to return
from her very long vacation.
I knew breastfeeding would keep my cycle away momentarily
and that AF would surely make a surprise visit,
and that she did!

The Pink Daisy Organic Cotton Menstrual Pads come in
three sizes: Small, Medium and Large.
I chose the Large pad for overnight use and for my heavy days.

Large; Medium; Small

The inner is the most luxurious material I have
ever felt... down there.
The Pink Daisy Organic Pads are topped
with a buttery soft vanilla colored organic cotton velour
and also have hidden layers of microfiber terry which
provide extra absorbency!

The backing of the Pink Daisy pad is made of a laminated
polyester,  like that in cloth diapers , that prevents leaking.

Pink Daisy pads conveniently fold into a neat little
package which is super easy to store clean or dirty.
Once used, you can toss into a mini wet bag
or I carry a small little ziploc baggy in my purse.

One of my favorite, though completely irrelavant,
features about Pink Daisy Pads are their very wide
selection of colors and prints.
Yes, I know, that this has nothing to do with the
performance of the pad, but be honest.. Our panties are
pretty, or babies diapers are pretty.. Why can't our pads be too?

I am highly impressed with Pink Daisy Organic Pads
and I want more to add to my growing mama cloth stash.
They are very absorbent, easy to use and store, super soft
and comfortable and like I mentioned.. Too cute!

Country Drawers has so much more than just mama cloth.
From cloth diapers to baby proofing items,
diaper bags to nursing pads..
You are sure to find something that you need or want!
Don't forget if you are ever in Nebraska, Country Drawers
has a physical store!
Check out their website for store hours and location.

BUY:
Pink Daisy Organic Pads retail for $9.95
Country Drawers will be restocking her shelves soon
or you can purchase directly from
Pink Daisy.

WIN:
Country Drawers has generously offered ONE lucky reader
a $10 gift certificate to use in their shop!!
You can purchase a Pink Daisy Organic Pad like
the one I reviewed or use it towards whatever
your heart desires. :)
