Like most children, my daughter Lillian is fascinated by the television.
As much as I limit the amount of t.v. she watches, it still is more than I prefer.
Thankfully today, there are so many wholesome, fun and educational programs out there.
She actually would much rather watch a show that is stimulating and informative.

Even at the age of two, I have noticed the large amount of knowledge 
she has gained through these television programs and our study time!
She has learned the ABC's, Colors, Shapes, Numbers! 
She is always ready to learn new things in new ways!

But Intellectual Baby knows that this is the case with a lot of children.

I recently received a very generous care package from Intellectual Baby. 
They sent me MonkiSee 3 DVD set, a video flash card DVD, 
a flash card set, a book and a Parents guide DVD!

The book is a 12 page short story, perfect for bedtime.
Full of bright colors, bold & fun words, pictures and rhymes.
Lillian insisted on this being her bedtime story for several nights!
She loved the pictures the most!

The video flash card DVD was a HUGE hit!
It included various categories of words, 
with large intricate words like cathedral  and everyday words such as eating.
A word would be shown on the t.v., then said aloud, followed by a picture!
With the words that Lillian already knew... She would respond to the action.
If the word was jump, she would jump in place.
I was glad to see her interacting and enjoying it!


The package of flash cards contain 40 large rectangular cards.
On one side is a large picture, and the other side a word that relates to the picture.
Example: One card has "yellow star" written in big bold letter on one side.
On the opposite side, a picture of a yellow star!
 The words on these cards are much less complex compared to the video flash cards.
The majority of the words pertain to colors or shapes.

The MonkiSee DVD set was the best of all!
Full of interactive-playing while you learn fun!
The main character of the MonkiSee DVDs are Howie and Skip, 
who are two puppet monkeys who love to learn! 
These DVDs are packed with rhyming poems and songs.
Lillian was instantly engulfed in the cute and education MonkiSee DVDs.
She even stood super close to the television and 
pointed to the different words she already knew! 
She loves Monkeys, so Howie and Skip were a big hit for our house!
Even after watching all DVDs several times these past few days, 
she still wanted to watch more!

Intellectual Baby makes a great product and I would highly recommend
the MonkiSee learning to read program.
Learning to read isn't going to happen over night, but with some
effort and repetition.. It can definitely happen sooner than expected.
I have already seen an improvement on Lillian's vocabulary and she
now knows more shapes than she did before starting MonkiSee!
