Monkey Toe diapers is owned and operated by Susan Mraz.
In 2005, after her husband's suggestion, 

Susan began sewing her own cloth diapers for her son.

Very Baby Diapers and she owns the pattern to Sugar Plum Baby fitted Diapers

 Monkey Toe Diapers sent me their "NykiBaby" Diaper in the 

Pink and Brown Ooga Booga print for review.
I was immediately star struck.
There is just something special about a cute Ooga Booga diaper, 

it just makes my day!
The NykiBaby is a One Size diaper, 

fitting a child on average 8-40lbs.
Definitely a lot of room to grow in, 

which is extremely important with my chunky babies.

 The Monkey Toe Diaper I received came with 

two microfiber towels sewn together to make an insert.
I was a little perplexed by this but it makes perfect sense.
Microfiber towels are very inexpensive, they are extremely absorbent 

and they can usually withstand a "brutal beating", so to speak.
The towels measure 14x14 and are 2 layers thick. 

Once folded in three, it gives several layers for extreme absorbency.
If you aren't fond of the microfiber towel idea, 

Monkey Toe diapers can be upgraded with a Hemp Bamboo insert.

Fold in corners, Then each side.

The pocket opening is generously big, 

enough to stuff a lot of "extras" in for added protection against leaks.
When soiled, you can easily shake the wet insert out 

without having to touch it. 

(Which was my husbands favorite detail)

Monkey Toe diapers are made from an outer layer of  100% polyester Laminated PUL 

and  inner layers of 100% polyester micro-chamois and micro-suede
I tried this diaper on both of my little girls.
Lillian loved the print, she thought they were bugs.. She's too cute!
The fit was great. Nice fluffy booty, nice high rise especially in the back.
The fit around her thighs and belly were secure but not too tight.
I love how it  sat over her hips just right
We put her in the NykiBaby diaper before heading out to the store, 

and we were gone 2-3 hours and we had no leaking problems.

 I love the fit of this diaper.

On Lillian, I had it on the largest rise and it fit perfectly over her hips and the

rise sat great on her belly. The thigh and waist were never too tight,

she definitely has room to grow in this diaper.

The absorbency was just as phenomenal.

I chose to put this diaper on before we went grocery shopping, 

and even after 2-3 hours there were no leaks!

I think Lillian is in love with this diaper as much as I am.

She usually darts away from the camera when it comes to review time.

But she was so proud to strut her stuff and show off her new diaper.

 On Olivia the fit was just as remarkable.
Once again, Nice fluffy booty. 

How can one think a fluffy bum isn't cute?
I was able to get a good fit in the rise 

on the second snap setting, rising below the naval.
It fit great over her chunky belly and 

rolly polley thighs and there were no red marks after.

As before with Lillian, there was no leaking.

Even after having a hugely grotesque BF poo!

 I love to show off our printed diapers and this one has received the

most compliments out of all the diapers in our stash.
